Main tasks of the current position at LRZ

  • Team leader of the LRZ Application Lab in Astrophysics, collaboration with users of the LRZ supercomputing facilities from the astrophysics community.
  • Coordinator of the High-Level Support Activities within the LRZ Application Support group.

Research interests

Numerical hydrodynamics, computational astrophysics, cosmological structure formation, turbulence modelling, hydrodynamical instabilities, high-performance computing and visualisation.
